Travel Diary: On the way to Dauin – Day 1

Took the budget airlines, Cebu Pacific from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

After an hour-and-a-half flight, we finally arrived safely in Dumaguete. Just look at how excited I was to see my son’s name flashing on the sign held by our driver waiting for us at the airport! 😂😂😂

Our van took us to our Airbnb. As we drove, I found myself looking out the window, taking in views I had never seen before. So here are drive by shots which I am hoping is clear enough.

Arrived at Descansa Airbnb and settled into The Mezzanine, the lovely space where we stayed. It is located just above the café. It was a welcoming place to call home for the next few days.

I loved how peaceful this place felt. We took a lovely walk by the shore before dinner.

Just chiling…

We had dinner at the restaurant on the ground floor before turning in for an early night.

This looks like a wonderful area. The weather looked great, and I love the drive-by shots. Everyone looks like they’re having a great time (and the food looks delicious).
