I never take Melbourne’s weather for granted. It can change in an instant, so when I caught a glimpse of sunshine, I didn’t waste the opportunity. I asked Jack and two of our friends if they felt like heading up to the mountains for a leisurely stroll and lunch.
We decided on Kallista in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges, and it turned out to be the perfect escape. The fresh mountain air, towering trees, and peaceful surroundings were a welcome change from the city. Sometimes, the best plans are the spontaneous ones—made simply because the sun decided to make an appearance.

Looks l ike the coffee was well deserved.

Well we are one of those countries that have 4 seasons in one day. Thanks Elka.
We might have that in Germany but only in April. April is famous for it.
What a lovely walk! I especially liked the engraved paving bricks, they add character to the path. Thanks for sharing.
