As I searched through my photo gallery, I realised that numbers are part of every journey I take. They point me in the right direction, mark old buildings, identify homes, reassure me that I’m catching the right tram, and quietly tell the story of a place. They’re such an ordinary part of travel that I often overlook them, yet they are always there, guiding me along the way.
Here are some numbers in Black & White for Sarah from the blog Travel With Me.
This first set are numbers in Trams which I saw in Melbourne, Sydney, Lisbon, Budapest and Porto.

Here are numbers of Beach Boxes found in Brighton and in Mornington, both in Victoria.

Numbers in the faces of clocks which I found in a vintage shop.

And some random Numbers in random locations.

Yep, they’re everywhere! I love trams xx
Oh yes, trams are a delight. Thanks Jo.
they are everywhere, but darned difficult to find at times.. especial when you are looking for a house number in unfamiliar territory… hidden in plain sight.
Haha that seems to be my kind of problem too. Thanks Clay.
You found such a good selection, and I like the way you’ve themed your galleries 🙂 I also really liked how you describe numbers as part of every journey you take – so very true!
Good and fun challenge you have here Sarah. And yes, it is part of travel …always.
By the way Sarah, I heard that Leanne and Brian were having problems with your site and Brian explained it well. It is happening to me as well. so I guess you are right…maybe an Australian glitch.
Maybe but it’s all very peculiar!
It is working ok now.
Great to hear that, thanks 🙏
These are great Teresa. Same city but so different to what I posted, well except for my one tram. I love the beachboxes.
Yes Leanne, Melbourne always surprises you with new finds every time. Beautiful images as usual.
It’s like with mushrooms. At first one just walks through the forest and barely sees a single one. Once your eyes are tuned to what you want to see – they’re everywhere. Great collection Teresa.
Great comparison to a mushroom…so true!
