Revisiting Sassafras Doors

Nestled in the heart of Victoria’s beautiful Dandenong Ranges, Sassafras is a picturesque village that feels like stepping into another world. Just over an hour from Melbourne, it is famous for its tree-lined streets, quaint cottages, boutique shops, and welcoming cafés. Hubby and I used to go here quite often before the hike in Petrol price so maybe you have seen some of these doors previously.

But sad to say, one of the shops that I love going to has closed permanently. I saw a cute message on the front door saying that “After almost 25 years David has decided to retire.” With a happy smile

I love these photos, Teresa (especially the bookstore, which we never pass without entering). Sorry about the closure, but happy for David in retirement. Thanks for sharing such a colorful collection.

Yes Dan, I never get tired of going inside these shops and browsing. I felt a little bit sad for David, but when I saw the smile then I felt better.
