“In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks.” – John Muir
So… because of the 5 day Snap Lockdown in Victoria, I revisited the wetlands near my place.
It made me realise once again how beautiful nature is … the flying Silver Gull, the dry leaves, reeds, the colourful Lorikeets and a pet dog.

Beautiful photo of the parrots 🦜..hope it’s only five days for you
I hope so too. Fingers crossed and toes and legs too!
what a wonderful place to have on your doorstep 😀
Thanks Becky, I so love it too. But when the lockdown was over I became busy again in my own little world. And now with our third lockdown nature is what keeps me company again.
thank goodness for nature, always there for us
I know…always keeps us company!
We were doing something similar yesterday- without the lorikeets 🙂 🙂 Have a good weekend, Teresa!
Have a good one too, Jo!
Nature is the healer and the joy.
That is so true!
Lovely place to stroll..
Thanks, it is definitely!
What fun! I especially like the shot of the dog, which looks like at least part pit. We had two foster pits at different times when we lived in Ohio and they were such sweethearts.

This one was a pet of somebody on a bike. I was hearing panting noises and was surprised that it was coming from him. Well, he was thirsty and his breathing was very loud. It is normal, for him according to the owner.
Love your colourful parrots! We don’t get anything like that at our nature reserves 😊
Thanks Jude, I get that too at times in my own backyard. They are just so high up the tree it is hard to take photos of them.
It is lucky you live so close to a top spot, Teresa. Gorgeous images.
Thanks so much Tracy. My world isn’t big but it is right by me. ❤️
That is a big plus. <3 🙂
