Visiting the Wetlands during Snap Lockdown

“In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks.” – John Muir

So… because of the 5 day Snap Lockdown in Victoria, I revisited the wetlands near my place.

It made me realise once again how beautiful nature is … the flying Silver Gull, the dry leaves, reeds, the colourful Lorikeets and a pet dog.

Thanks Becky, I so love it too. But when the lockdown was over I became busy again in my own little world. And now with our third lockdown nature is what keeps me company again.

      Thanks, it is definitely!

  6. What fun! I especially like the shot of the dog, which looks like at least part pit. We had two foster pits at different times when we lived in Ohio and they were such sweethearts.

This one was a pet of somebody on a bike. I was hearing panting noises and was surprised that it was coming from him. Well, he was thirsty and his breathing was very loud. It is normal, for him according to the owner.

Love your colourful parrots! We don’t get anything like that at our nature reserves 😊

    1. Teresa says:

Thanks Jude, I get that too at times in my own backyard. They are just so high up the tree it is hard to take photos of them.

  8. It is lucky you live so close to a top spot, Teresa. Gorgeous images.
