Madrid is an exquisite city and can be seen in its grand buildings and of course in its windows, which is the topic of this challenge.
The Palacio de Cibeles, formerly the Palacio de Comunicaciones until 2011, is a palace located on the Plaza de Cibeles. What an amazing architecture.
El Palacio Real or Madrid’s Royal Palace is the official residence of the Spanish royalty even though they don’t actually live here. It is now mainly used for special state functions. It is the largest royal palace in Europe with over 2,500 rooms and only 50 of the rooms are open to the public.
Saint Jerome the Royal is a Roman Catholic church from the early 16th-century in central Madrid. San Jeronimo el Real church stands on a hill next to the Museo del Prado (Prado Museum)
The Las Ventas Bullring is one of the largest and most beautiful bullrings in the world. Based on brickwork and hand-painted tiles, its beautiful facade makes this one of Madrid’s most visited and photographed monuments
Plaza Mayor is a historical arcaded square in the heart of the Madrid city’s old town. One of the city’s tourist icons that serves as a social and cultural meeting place.
One of the most photographed buildings in Madrid is the Metropolis Building. On top stands the Winged Victory statue, which was designed by Federico Coullaut-Valera Mendigutia.
