Windows of a Church in Toorak

These are drive-by shots of St. John’s Anglican Church in Toorak. Toorak is a prestigious and expensive suburb of Melbourne, 5 km south-east of Melbourne’s CBD.

I happened to pass by and noticed that some of its windows were covered, and the stained glass looked particularly striking. I thought it was a beautiful example of simple architecture worth sharing for Monday Window.

A lovely looking church. You didn’t go inside to see the stained glass from there?

It was a Saturday afternoon so maybe that is why nobody was there. Thanks for the comment, Jo.
