Cool Colours include green, blue, and purple and are usually calming and relaxing… it is the colour of water and of nature.
There’s often a lively debate over whether Melbourne or Sydney is the superior city. I once read a saying that “Melbourne and Sydney are sisters, but Sydney is the pretty one.” As a Melburnian, I can’t help but agree with that sentiment.
But here’s the thing, if you have an appreciation for culture, street art, quaint laneways, and cozy cafes… then Melbourne is IT.

Lovely cool gallery Teresa
Thanks Brian.
They both look pretty good to me, Teresa. Great photos!
Thanks Jo!
Great gallery. But that lass on the beach looks anything but cool – hot and burnished I’d say!
Haha cool bathers for the lovely tanned lady.
They both look really cool, tbh. Your photos are awesome, Teresa.
Thanks a lot Sofia. Glad you think so.
I suspect I’d be happy in either city, Teresa! Nice submission for the challenge!
Interesting comparison between the two cities. I loved Sydney when we visited but the more I’ve seen of Melbourne in your posts the more I think I would love it too!
I bet you will. Hope you can beat the flight and visit. Thanks Sarah.
I love the Blue Lady.
Glad you like her, Susan.
Well Teresa, the good news is we don’t have to choose! We loved both during our visit and your images offer further proof! Beautifully done!!
Thanks a lot Tina. It is really a silly competition but I think there always is a silent comparison between the two to outdo each other.
Such vibrancy! You must be getting excited for spring too
A bit, but hayfever season has already come, so I don’t know of I would be happy for spring.
Nice gallery of cool photos.
Thanks a lot Sheryl!
Great great photos. Excellent. That’s a full cup of coffee!
Thanks John. Oh yes it is a full cuppa.
Just beautiful – the green waters are really cool!
Thanks A-C. It is wonderful when the photo surprisingly does that.
