Before the earthquakes hit Christchurch in 2011, street art was mostly seen as graffiti or vandalism. But after the quakes, the damaged buildings gave artists a chance to turn the city into something more colourful and creative. In 2017, these giant spray cans were set up as a way to give artists a proper space to paint and show off their skills.
The latest designs on the cans were done by three amazing artists—Ikarus, Jacob Yikes, and Jessie Rawcliffe. Instead of taking one can each, they worked together on all three. The result is a bold and vibrant tribute to Dragon Ball and its late creator, Akira Toriyama. I am not sure who did the rest though.

I am posting this for my own Tuesday Streetart and also for Natalie’s Photographing Public Art Challenge
These are so cool, Teresa.
