This week’s Monochrome Madness Challenge is from Margaret of From Pyrenees to Pennines. She is asking us to post something that is “As Bright as Can Be”.
These photos were taken under the intense midday sun, when daylight was at its brightest.

I’ve also included two captured on New Year’s Eve, when the brilliant burst of fireworks filled the night sky with dazzling bright light.

These are wonderful Teresa, I think the fireworks are incredible.
I think so too. Thanks Leanne.
You sure have some bright photos Teresa
Bright indeed. Thanks Brian.
Oh, don’t these work well, especially (and surprisingly) the firework shots? I have a soft spot for those pelicans too. Thanks for joining in Teresa.
Thanks for the challenge Margaret. Yes, those Pelicans in bright sunlight are adorable.
That first shot is my favourite. Lovely shadows, Teresa xx
Thanks Jo, happy to know your fave.
I can almost feel the heat looking at your first gallery! But it’s the fireworks photos that (surprisingly) I feel work the best in monochrome 😀
The fireworks surprised me as well. Thanks Sarah.
Bright indeed. You’re a good photographer. I love the fireworks in black and white.
Thanks Susan. Happy that you stopped by.
Lovely bright captures
Thanks Hammad!
