Shapes and Designs

“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but having new eyes.” ~ Marcel Proust

Patti has invited us this week to join her to look at shapes and designs. We are used to looking at the bigger picture but for this week I am taking you to view the domes and ceilings of iconic places more closely. Some of these shapes and designs may be familiar to you. Enjoy.

The dome of the Dohany Street Synagogue in Budapest, which is the second largest synagogue in Europe and one of the largest in the world.

Wonderful domes . But a great quote from Proust. There is little that we can take photos today that hasn’t been photographed before. So why not just buy prints? Because it is our point of view, our way of looking at something that makes the photo special (at least, to us).

    1. Teresa says:

That is true. And all the memories that go along with every photo that we take.
