“Everything has beauty, but not everyone can see it.” – unknown
In a small alleyway in Fitzroy … thankful that my husband stopped the car when I told him to. I saw this face of an aboriginal man which I noticed to be the work of Adnate. It is a part of a larger mural which I later on found out was a collaboration work with street artist Sirum.
I have featured Adnate several times already with beautiful art pieces such as:
In Sydney
In the corner of Little Bourke St in Melbourne
Just to name a few.
Below is the art of Andrew Bourke also known as Sirum, who is an Australian street artist. He has a semi-rural upbringing and his interest in nature is evidenced in his work. Many of his pieces depict reptiles, Australian birds and wildlife.
Shame about the cars. Great piece.
Yes, it was a narrow alleyway and a car was gonna pass so I can’t really position myself well. Good I wasn’t run over haha
The mural is beautiful, Teresa!
Thanks Miriam. It is a beautiful one even from afar that is why I had to go down and photograph it.
I can imagine, Teresa! 🙂
Both beautiful!
Thanks.They really are.
Beautiful ones. Wish we could travel, we should be in your place now (well, Perth, but you know what I mean)…
Haha yes for sure!
Wow, these are just amazing!
Thanks so much… such amazing artists.
Two wonderful murals from great artists. We also have an Adnate here in Perth in a new hotel that took his name – the Adnate Hotel.
Thanks for contributing to Monday Murals Teresa.
Why does the hotel have his name?
Great finds — your town seems to have a wonderful selection of street art.
be well… mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Oh yes Mae. That is why I love it 🥰 Thanks for stopping by.
These are both incredible. Sometimes we have to put up with cars, but you found a great way around the problem.
I had to do what I had to do 😁
