Tina of Travels and Trifles is hosting the Lens-Artists Photo Challenge this week, with the theme of Walking the Neighbourhood.
I know that I have posted about this part of my neighbourhood way too often, but I can’t help it. The wetlands have become my favourite retreat. Every time I visit, I’m struck by the vibrant life all around me.
The sounds of birds calling…
and the rustle of reeds in the breeze create a soothing sound.
I often wander the winding paths of the walkway…
I would stop to watch the ducks splashing in the water and the black swans gliding smoothly by. It’s a peaceful sight that always brings me joy.
I cherish the tranquility here—it’s a peaceful escape where I can reconnect with nature and find a moment of calm amidst the busyness of life.
What an amazing place! I love the walkway so you can appreciate nature without disturbing it.
I love that too because that is where I can sit and watch the day go by. Until of course some noisy kids disturb me haha Thanks for commenting.
