In one of the quiet laneways in Melbourne, there is this striking large mural that is hard to miss. This is Beaney Lane…
In the very corner, Heesco paints a striking portrait with an unusual blue complexion, inspired by Avatar, I guess.

Only a curious few, like me, would venture into this laneway and discover another mural. Matt Adnate captures a mysterious gaze behind blue satin, bringing a quiet sense of emotion to the wall.

Love this!
Thanks Dawn.
Both are wonderful captures of the murals, Teresa. 😊
My pleasure to share. Thanks Pepper.
Well sleuthed. Striking indeed.
I am good at that Margaret haha Thanks, glad I found that featured image. The blue lady I think I may have posted that already but I am not sure.
Hmm. She passed me by if so.
That second one’s really lovely. Teresa xx
I know, the eyes are so expressive, right? Thanks Jo.
Both murals are beautiful but there’s something in particular about the second – it looks almost three dimensional!
I agree with you Sarah about the second mural. It is by one of my favourite Muralist, Adnate.
