… Still in St Kilda

This is a continuation of my walk in St Kilda. We are now in Acland Street, a vibrant and foodie area.

From the Pier, we walked past the Palais Theatre and Luna Park.

… then passed by the Australian Bicentennial Project which was created in 1988 to celebrate 200 years since the arrival of the First Fleet in 1788.

Beside it stands a towering palm tree, its trunk stretching endlessly toward the sky with a metal bench wrapped around its base.

There’s something oddly satisfying about walking past utility doors, each uniquely designed.

Walking past the tram, vibrant shops, a lone scooter, and a woman with brightly coloured hair feeding the pigeons.

Inviting chairs sit empty, overshadowed by the lively, bustling restaurants nearby—a quiet contrast to the crowd.

The added splashes of bright colour to these doors make it all the more inviting.

But first… lunch at Chinta Ria Malaysian Restaurant before heading home.

Acland Street is famous for its mouth-watering cakes and pastries, so I couldn’t leave without at least a tiny taste of blueberry tart and a sip of coffee.
