Snippets of my first week in Vietnam

on

First week in Vietnam 🇻🇳 and my senses are still catching up. Hanoi streets buzzing with fast-moving tuk-tuks, horns everywhere, and energy that never seems to slow down.

From the calm, misty waters of Ha Long Bay to the exciting buzz of Hanoi Train Street. Peaceful views one day, coffee by the tracks the next. Vietnam has the best contrasts.

Trying bánh mì in every corner we could find. And when my sister and niece arrived to meet us, we took the Sleeper train to Sapa.

In Sapa, there are a lot of Instagram worthy places to have our photos taken. Fansipan and Moana are two of them.

But my sister and niece’s trip was cut short. We still have one more week to go but they got the news that my brother in Law is not doing ok healthwise so they had to go back home to the Philippines.

Nice photos of Sapa and Halong Bay. Sapa continues to be in my bucket list. Too many places to go to in Vietnam.

You do lead an exciting life, Teresa. I was going to say that peaceful Ha Long Bay would do me nicely, but Sapa looks a lot of fun. Sorry about your b-in-law xx
