This week is a “themed” Monochrome Madness week and it is being hosted by Dawn.
It was about nine months ago when we visited this beautiful city of Barcelona. In Barcelona, shadows and silhouettes of people add a poetic layer to the city’s vibrant streets. As the sun sets, elongated shadows stretch across the colourful façades of buildings, and the silhouettes of locals and tourists alike move through the bustling plazas and narrow alleys.
These are wonderful I especially like the streets with the people.
Very nice.
Thanks Dawn, glad you liked them.
Barcelona responds well to b/w, as you demonstrate so well.
I know right? The alleyways ahhhh I really love it. Maybe I should just live there haha
Or do as my daughter and family have done. Choose a town not too far away which has its own charms, and save a lot of money!
Well you can do that if you’re good in navigation. But if you are like me and hubby, who always gets lost, I think I will just stick to the main thoroughfares haha
Direct train takes 10 minutes!
That’s good then 👍
Excellent shadows. Great captures in a picturesque city.
Thanks Rebecca, that is so true…such a beautiful city!
Beautiful shots!
Thanks a lot Nes! ❤️
These are ever so good Teresa
Thanks Brian.
I like those street photos a lot, the light is fantastic!
Thanks Sarah!
