Sculpture Of Stacked Slates and Stones

“Sculpture is an art of the open air. Daylight, sunlight, is necessary to it, and for me, its best setting and complement is nature.” – Henry Moore

The Park is an outdoor gallery within 135 hectares of landscaped grounds. Unlike other Australian sculpture parks, Pt. Leo Estate Sculpture Park includes works by major international as well as major Australian artists.

This is a sculpture made by Boaz VAADIA, Israel born and arrived in the USA in 1975. It is called Haziel and Ma’aseyahu 2011 and is constructed from stacked slates and stones.

Used to being teased by all my friends because of my height and also because my husband is so tall. So I am used to that and I don’t get offended whatsoever.
