Philippines Moving Forward

It’s Day 2 of Becky’s SquaresRenew and I am featuring something that is close to my heart.

As a Filipino migrant residing in Australia, every time I see something “Filipino” like these trams in Melbourne and in Sydney….I feel so excited.

I’ve often wondered why discussions about Southeast Asia frequently overlook the Philippines, mentioning countries like Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, and lately, even Laos. Could it be attributed to the marketing efforts of Philippine tourism?

Anyway that is to change, and moving forward, the “Love the Philippines” Tram Campaign isn’t just an ad—it’s an open invitation to discover the Philippines. With vibrant graphics on tram routes in Melbourne and Sydney, it brings a piece of Filipino culture to Australia’s streets.

I and my niece tried to wait for this tram in Sydney for ages. Just shows you that we had nothing better to do haha

A country I’ve always wanted to visit as have a friend who never stops talking about how beautiful and wonderful your home country is. Glad that Melbourne and Sydney are catching on to its wonders
