This week, Beth of Wandering Dawgs challenges us with the theme of “on the water”.
“In the stillness of the water, even wings seem quieter.”
These beautiful creatures were captured during the pandemic…when the world grew quiet, and we learned to find beauty and peace just beyond our doorsteps.

“Where the water whispers and the world fades.”
Chasing water wherever I go… from open seas to quiet canals, from different places in faraway counties … but the same feeling: everything slows, and for a moment, the world feels softer.

Such a lovely response, Teresa. There’s not a photo I don’t love, but my favourite is the tree in the water. And that swan Header is glorious xx
Thanks Jo, love your comment. It makes my heart happy.
Lovely images Teresa. I’m particularly taken by your tree-in-the-water.
Thanks Margaret. That tree is the Wanaka Tree in New Zealand.
Beautiful birds and boats Teresa!
Thanks Pamela. Not very creative in my response but full of happy memories.
Teresa, thanks for this beautiful response to the challenge. I love the birds, the tree in the water and your gallery of boats.
Thanks a lot Beth. Glad you liked my response to your challenge.
Lovely post Teresa, especially the black swan and the tree!
Thanks Sarah, that seems to be a popular favourite.
Quite the collection, Teresa. Your opener is stunning, I also love the tree. Last photo is a favourite too, I love the angle you have there.
They seem to be the favourites. Thanks Sofia.
Beautiful! We saw black swans in NZ – but not the Wanaka Tree! Thank you for showing us!
Thanks A-C. The Wanaka tree is so far from everything. No wonder you didn’t get to that area.
black swan!
Beautiful isn’t it?
We don’t have it here (I think) so I’m always mesmerized by them.
Oh don’t you? That is a familiar site just in our local wetlands. Just a family of black swans.
