Being hopeful …

This week, Patti hosts the Lens-Artists Photo Challenge with the topic of HOPEFUL. I am linking this also to Becky’s SquareRenew

In my ripe ol’ age of 60+, there are still many things in life that make me hopeful… witnessing simple acts of kindness, seeing progress in the world, and maybe experiencing personal growth by learning new skills.

But today, I’d like to share some aspects of nature that I associate with hopefulness.

SUNRISE: As the sun rises, so does hope, casting its golden glow upon the day, illuminating the path to possibility and new beginnings.

“I hope you realize that every day is a fresh start for you. That every sunrise is a new chapter in your life waiting to be written.” – Juansen Dizon

SUNSET: In the tranquility of a sunset, hope whispers its promise, painting the sky with clouds and colour, that there will be a brighter tomorrow.

SUNFLOWER: Yes, the world is full of uncertainty, but hope blooms like a sunflower, turning towards the light despite the darkness.

“I want to be like a sunflower, so that even on the darkest days I will stand tall and find the sunlight.”-unknown

WATER: This is a reminder that hope can flow even during turbulent times, and make a path around any rock obstacles.

FALLING LEAVES: In the gentle descent of autumn leaves, hope finds its promises of renewal until the next season comes along.

A CHILD’S SMILE: In the radiant innocence of a child’s smile, hope finds its promise of a brighter future.
