A lone bench in Yamanakako village

Somewhere in Yamanakako Village, a wobbly, forgotten bench caught my eye. No one sat on it, no one photographed it—but I did. Even the broken corners of a place deserve a moment. This is a place near Mt Fuji.

I am linking this to Jude’s Bench Anniversary and for Xingfumama’s Pull Up a Seat Challenge

Looks are deceptive then. It looks quite sturdy and smart!

Yes deceiving it is. I leaned on it and it wobbled.

It looks nice in the landscape – I’m curious as to what you would be looking at if you sat there.

Jude, there’s nothing much just opposite it. There is just the 2 story office and lookout. But the view from the lookout is amazing with all the different colours of foliage and the view of Mount Fuji.
