The clouds on our drive from Queenstown to Te Anau were light and fluffy, drifting slowly across the bright blue sky. The sun made everything shine, and the clouds looked like soft white shapes floating above and within the mountains.

A gorgeous blue sky and lovely photos, the first one is my favourite.
Glad to know your favourite. Thanks Eunice.
Stunning spot. Well, the whole south island is stunning
Well I agree … it really is beautiful everywhere. No need for editing the photos. Thanks Coral.
A wonderful way to spend the day, Teresa!
True, I always love taking photos of clouds. Thanks Johnbo
Looks like you had fabulous weather. We’re actually in Te Anau now. And it’s raining.
Oh yes we are in Te Anau too today and it is raining. Where are you staying? We are leaving tomorrow for Queenstown. Luckily when we went to Milford Sound yesterday, the weather was great
Lucky you to have had beautiful weather when visiting Milford Sound. We went again today, but just to The Divide to hike the Key Summit Track. The weather was much nicer today and we even had some sunshine. We’re in Queenstown tomorrow.
Have a great time. Lucky you can still hike. My knees are not good enough to do that.
The city centre of Queenstown is too busy for my liking.
What wonderful cloudscapes!
It is. So lucky to experience so many. Thanks Margaret.
How lovely are these! Love it when they just kind of hang there, like decorations xx
Haha true. Thanks Jo.
Beautiful views enhanced by those lovely wispy clouds!
Clouds always get me! Thanks Sarah!
Gorgeous scenery! I would love to go when it’s summer.
Summer might not give you the fun of the waterfalls in Milford Sound. But scenery would still be great.
That’s so true actually. I was there in winter and the waterfalls were magnificent.
That was what some of the guides were saying.
