“Tomorrow we will do beautiful things.” – Antoni Gaudi
Montserrat is a spectacular Benedictine abbey just about an hour away from Barcelona, Spain. While I stood in the middle of the grounds of the monastery…I could feel and hear the tranquility of the place. I don’t know why, but although there were many people there that time, I could definitely feel the peace and serenity around me.
You can move the slider back and forth between my photo and my pen and ink line drawing. I guess the slider isn’t perfect still. It should have been exactly the same size but Oh well. But this is Montserrat…its windows and doors through my pen.
A lovely post about a special place.
Thanks Margaret, I really do believe that!

You did very good work Teresa. I like that slider part for things like this.
Thanks so much Dan!
Now, how could you go to Montserrat but not Barcelona? 🙂 🙂 Your drawing is lovely! Wish I could draw like that… or that I’d been to Monserrat. I chose Girona as our ‘away day’.
Thanks Jo. I did go to Barcelona but just in a rush. But I have not gone inside the Sagrada and not to the Park. That’s why I told my husband that we have to go back. And upon researching, there are still so many places that we haven’t seen….so there you go!
And I missed out on Monserrat 🙂 🙂
You have to go back too haha

We were in this place a couple of years ago with my family. This is really amazing! You gave me memories of my trip to Spain.
