Urban sketching tools

Urban Sketching is the act of drawing or painting on location in the cities or towns that you live in or travel to. It is your own visual diary of what you found inspiring or note worthy.

I have been doing this form of art for 2 years now and I am absolutely enjoying it. The reason is, I don’t have to buy expensive materials and I can do it anywhere and any time I am in the mood to do it

The tools that I usually use are the basics: pencil, waterproof pen, a Sailor Fude Calligraphy pen, watercolour, plain water.

  1. Wow, that looks awesome! I think I would enjoy doing that. I’ve seen lessons available. Yours would be beautiful framed and hung on the wall!

Maybe one day. But for now it is still tucked away. I haven’t sketched regularly ever since I came back from holidays.
