The Dolphin Fountain can be found at the Fitzroy Gardens. It was unveiled in December of 1982 and it is by sculptress June Arnold. It consists of a pyramid of granite boulders and on them are assorted sea creatures like dolphins, octopus, crabs, sea horses, turtles, sea birds and shrimps.

Love all the details you’ve included in your photos. It’s something I would love to see!
Thanks so much…there was a surprise in every turn.

Love the owls and the seahorses.
Thanks Jo!
That looks like a fun piece for the children to explore – and grown-ups too! I love the little owls 🙂
Yes, if you could only hear the little kids enjoying the sea creature…they were so excited! Thanks for the comment Sarah!
Lovely 😍
Thanks 🙏🏻
One thing about both of us, we do love the details. Wonderful photos for this week 😀
Thanks Cee…it is really in the details. ❤️❤️❤️
Teresa, I loved Fitzroy Gardens, and somehow I missed this lovely fountain. Melbourne is a lovely place – a photographer’s dream. Thanks for sharing, and you’re welcome for the feature. 🙂
Yes, Marsha I saw your other posts and I didn’t seem to see this one. Have a good day my dear!
It’s easy to miss things unless we sit on someone’s blog for a month. That’s one reason I love doing the interviews. I get to sit on a blog with the person and go through and see their favorite posts, then go back afterwards and give everything a good read.
Beautiful fountain, Teresa. i love the sea birds.
Thanks Natalie 🥰
What a cool and creative fountain!!
Definitely creative!
