The adventure begins at Changi Airport

We are travelling to a country I have never been but first is a four hour layover. The adventure begins at Changi Airport … from strolling through the Enchanted Garden

… to chasing sunrise in the Sunflower Garden

and saying hello to butterflies before takeoff.

With every turn there is so much to see and enjoy to pass the time.

I am linking this to Natalie‘s Photographing Public Art Challenge and for Floral Friday

It was so beautiful and we were there at 5am when the sun was beginning to rise so the outdoor sunflower garden was so pretty.

      1. wrookieschu says:

Oh beautiful. I have seen a sunset there that was beautiful but we never got to see the butterfly garden.

        1. Teresa says:

Gorgeous flowers and mosaics at Changi airport, Teresa. I used to fly Singapore Airlines when I travelled to Asia. I think Singapore airlines and Changi airport have been voted #1 many times. Thank you for your public art contribution. Have a wonderful trip!

The airport looks great, but I am most interested to find out where you are going!

    1. Teresa says:

Sorry for the late response. I guess now you know where I have been haha

      1. Toonsarah says:

        Indeed! Are you home now?

        1. Teresa says:

Yes, I am! And I still have a few months before I get up and go again. Unlike you—you’re always somewhere new. Not complaining though, I love all the places you take me!

          1. Toonsarah says:

We do leave quite a few months between our longer trips, but we’re lucky to be able to take short breaks in Europe as well so that’s probably why it seems that we travel so much!

          2. Teresa says:

Love your shots so keep it coming.

  13. That is quite the airport! Incredible pics, thank you for sharing!

    1. Teresa says:

      Thanks Kathleen.

What a magnificent airport. It is a great destination to start your journey

    1. Teresa says:

Great airport, glad I even made a longer layover to be able to do this.

  16. Oh my goodness…those photos are so stunning! I wouldn’t mind if my plane was delayed there. It’s gorgeous.

    1. Teresa says:

It would be nice if you can walk around. These areas are far from each other so a bit of planning is needed.

  17. MrsWayfarer says:

Waiting for a plane in Changi is never boring because of these finds.

    1. Teresa says:

I had to research about this so the airport is really a start of travels already.
