Taking flight on the Wetlands

“You were born with wings, why prefer to crawl through life?” – Rumi

I decided to walk through my local wetlands yesterday to savour the view as it was during the strict lockdown. Things were much simpler during the year that was… i used to just sit there almost everyday… no distractions of work, shopping, catching up with mates… just simply watching the gulls fly by as I sit by myself.

I particularly like the one with the reflection of the many gulls but they are all wonderful.

  2. Brilliant captures, Teresa 👏 Particularly the last one; the reflections coupled with the brooding clouds streaking across the sky is fantastic 😃

Loved them all, would hate to have to chose one as best.

Thanks Maris, nothing grand like what the others post. Don’t have the lens for it!

  5. Well done, Teresa. The second pic is my favorite. Were you on a high bridge?

    1. Teresa says:

Not really high…just an ordinary bridge…it is just the angle of it and the bird was below me! Thanks Frank!
