Perfect Pairs Close to Home

Elizabeth of Albatz Travel Adventures is hosting the Lens-Artists Photo Challenge, focusing on Pairs. Here are some examples of what I consider perfect pairs.

This week, I’m staying close to home and visiting my local wetlands, nature’s tranquil sanctuary, where pairs of black swans glide gracefully. Here, the images share some common elements.

And amidst the black birds, a pair of ducks sit quietly.

These vibrant fields of flowers are home to a diverse array of wildlife, coexisting harmoniously.

More variety of pairs of birds.

I like your pairs. The ducks look very colourful, I love the blueish green beaks. Similar to mallards but not quite.

    1. Teresa says:

I think it is a type of Mallard. I googled it and I found it there. Thanks for liking it.

Thanks for checking, the back definitely looks like a mallard but not the head.

  6. Birds are such lovely creatures, swans and cockatoos such graceful lines. I don’t think I’ve ever seen blue beaks before – what a find!

Is it unusual? We have lots of blue beaked ducks here. Thanks for the interesting challenge
