A mother always worries about her child no matter how old they may be… so when Pat told me that she booked a tiny home to stay all by herself in a place far, far away from the rest of civilisation… I was worried!

I sent her a long letter blah blah blah and this was her reply : “ gotta take risks to enjoy life. You’ve taught me well to be ok. Please sleep easy. “ ❤️ (But of course I didn’t sleep well.)
Windows overlooking the grounds of the tiny house.

She cooked dinner for one…
Night time windows and outdoor sky. She tried to make a bonfire from scratch but she said that she could not make it big.
It was so lovely to have this view all to herself (but of course I didn’t want to tell her that because she may be encouraged to go away again by herself).
She said that there were times when she thought that there were people outside… but no, there were just lots and lots of cows out there.
And this was her yummy breakfast for one that she did herself.
On the way home she went to this small lake.

And she even sent me some photos of murals that she saw along the way.

Pat came home safe and sound…with lots of fun experience and education under her sleeves. She’s one tough cookie.
Empty-nesters na ba?
A yes… for a long time na!
Well done to both 🙂
Thanks ❤️
A beautiful place to stay, inside and outdoors alike!
Yea…beautiful but scary to be by yourself. Anyway she came back in one piece haha
Thank you for your PPAC contribution. The murals are nice and colourful touches to the tiny house. I had done a similar solo getaway pre-covid and in a different location. It’s a wonderful (and addictive) experience 🙂
Thanks Natalie. I know she will be okay…but as a mum of course I get worried sometimes. I am sure your mum did too ❤️
Looks like she enjoyed that tiny house. Wonderful photos of it 😀
She definitely did! Thanks Cee.
What a lovely tiny house and what a special experience it must have been for Patto stay there!
She really enjoyed it. And I have to admit…it would have been a great learning experience too for her.
Like she said, you taught her well! Cute little house and no trouble from the neighbours.
Haha true! But I hope we did teach them well.
That is one neat little tiny house. Charming, with everything so compact. Great views. Fine windows. Grand experience.
Thanks Ludwig… looks like it has all the needed amenities.
What a wonderful wee tiny house & a fantastic setting; the lake & it’s waterfall are so picturesque 😃
Glad you liked it Jez. It was a pretty place.
