A photo becomes a favorite for various reasons. While it might not hold the same significance for everyone, for me, it’s the attached memories that make it special.

In 2023, my first visit to Sintra left me captivated, especially when gazing down from a high vantage point—the view was truly magnificent.
Amidst the crowded Musee d’Orsay, capturing a shot was challenging with numerous people in the same spot. Yet, this girl happened to be in the perfect place at the right moment.
This was a drive by photo taken during our roadtrip in York.

Perched on a mountain cliff above Santiago Cove in Ilocos Sur, Philippines, features traditional Greek architecture with stunning sea views.
Love the spooky feeling this photo gives. It is the Church of Saint Ildefonso in Porto.
During our wet roadtrip in the UK, surprised that a photo in the McDonald’s parking lot created this magical atmosphere.

Your shot in the McDonalds car park proves you don’t need an exotic location to find good photo ops! But my favourites are the church in Porto and the fern in your own garden 🙂

Beautiful. That photo of the church of St. Ildefonso reminded me of a cafe next to it where we’d dropped in for an aperitif. We were surprised when a fado performance started. Very pleasant surprise. I’m sure you were equally pleasantly surprised by that photo in a parking lot at a McDonald’s.
That’s what I love about travelling… full of pleasant surprises. Did you enjoy the Fado performance? It is quite different huh plus awesome food!
