Monochromes in the Cloudehill Garden & Nursery

on

This week’s Monochrome Madness Challenge doesn’t have a specific theme, so I decided to follow Leanne’s lead and showcase some flowers in monochrome. I captured these photos at Cloudehill Nursery in Olinda, a charming town in the Dandenong Ranges.

I am linking this to Leanne’s Monochrome Madness and for Cee’s Flower of the Day Challenge

Thanks Brian. At first I was just experimenting, but then I thought that it looked good, if I should say so myself haha

Clever use of the image compare feature, it’s always interesting to see both versions 🙂 I can’t decide which I prefer in each case!

I’ve never heard of that place, I might have to check it out one day. I like how you have done this post Teresa, the flowers look great.

    1. Teresa says:

Thanks so much Leanne. Cloudehill is just a small place that is why maybe you haven’t heard of it.

I prefer flowers in colour, although I do think the Alstroemeria looks great in monochrome

    1. Teresa says:

Sometimes I get lucky with the light and shade, but usually it is the colour that makes it stand out. Thanks Ali.
