Cute UooUoo at the Prahran Market
(Part 2 of the UooUoo Trail Series)
If you missed my part 1… HERE it is
This is entitled Woohoo, created by the Glad Rappers and can be found at the Prahran market in Melbourne. This aims to portray a warm feeling of our childhood with the use of soft toys, pillows, blankets, beanies, scarves and socks.
I am featuring this sculpture on its own because as you may already have a clue… this is my favourite among the UooUoos.
And for today I am participating in 3 challenges in one go.
At first glance I thought they were real kids! I can see why you love it 🙂 🙂 Happy weekend, Teresa!
Same to you too Jo!
oh this is adorable – simply fabulous art work
Yes it is, Becky! Love this one.
must have been so tempting to ‘borrow’ it!!
I wanted to touch it and see if it was soft but Knowing my height, I can’t reach it 😳
shame they didn’t create samples for everyone to touch as am sure you were not alone in wanting to touch!
The UooUoos can be reached but the kids at the top is the one that is too high.
This is such a fun, colourful UooUoo, but to me the ‘kids’ look a little spooky and threatening!
Oh noooo, They are cuties! Haha thanks for the comment Sarah!
Oh, this is so lovely and bright! A lot of knitting and crochet has gone into it.
Thanks Elaine for stopping by.
That’s wonderful! I thought they were real at first, too.
I love the colors and the texture of the yarns used in this sculpture. It’s so original. Thanks for joining.
My pleasure!
oh that is so fun, T! 🙂
Yes, I love searching for them around the city.
What fun! But I can’t imagine how long it took to make all that!

I wonder too. Thanks Janet ❤️
