Ann-Christine leads the Lens Artist Photo Challenge this week with the theme of Holiday Fun.
Christmas has always been a happy occasion in my family, but now it feels a little bigger and a little brighter, shared across two places where my two kids are. Don’t get me wrong … I love Melbourne … but London celebrates Christmas in a way that feels just a bit more grand. Two cities, two moods, yet the same warm feeling that comes with knowing we’re connected, no matter the distance.
In Melbourne

In London

Beautiful photos of the decorations and y’all.
Thanks Rebecca.
Festive indeed.
That’s how I like it. Thanks Marie.
The connection is the main thing, despite the miles. Happy hols, Teresa xx
It is all about connections indeed. Happy Holidays to you too Jo!
The lights in both cities look pretty good to me. And as Jo said, it’s the connections that matter.
So true. Thanks Margaret.
Wonderful!
Double Joy for the holidays.
That’s one way of looking at it. Thanks Nes.
Both places are beautiful and festive!
Glad you think so. Thanks Beth.
What a great idea to show us Christmas in two different cities! Some things look quite similar, others are less so, but goth look very festive 🎄
Thanks Sarah. Glad you think so especially coming from one living in London.
Wonderful holiday or Christmas photos Teresa, I’m hoping to see the Melbourne ones soon.
Are you far from Melbourne?
Wonderful idea, Teresa – and wonderful places you have caught! So festive and bright. I love the blue tree in Melbourne especially, and the angels in London!
Thanks A-C I really love the mood of the season… brings out the child in me.
Great photos all. I think I see Covent Gardens.🤷♂️
I think it is. Thanks John.
