To get to know me is to know my heritage. Both my parents are Filipinos. My mother was a stay-at-home mum and my dad was an artist and an Advertising man by profession.

I got my artistic gene from my dad. Back in the Philippines, immediately after graduating from Bachelor of Fine Arts major in Advertising, I started to work.
Work, work, work that was all I seemed to do. And this was my view if I took the cab, or sometimes I took the jeepney or sometimes a pedicab to work. I worked in the CBD of Makati, Philippines.
1991 was the year when my husband and I packed our bags and said goodbye to our homeland of 30 years.
Now, Australia or Melbourne to be precise, has been our home for the past 32 years. No regrets… and life has been good to us. Not rich and famous, but just enough to have a happy fulfilling life with 2 wonderful kids.
So…this is Me today… I am a “wanderlust” and so is my hubby, Jack.

I love streetart, murals, sculptures …. you name it!
I love colour and colourful places
I also love nature especially taking close up shots. Only close ups because my camera is not good enough to do macros.
There are so many things that I like doing but these are the most special ones for me right now.! I hope you got to know ME a little bit more. I will be visiting your sites soon to know more about YOU!
Scilla’s Getting. to Know About You – ME
How great to know a little more about you. A very nice and colourful post. 😘
Thanks so much Ana! I am enjoying knowing more of the blogging community too!
Thanks for joining the challenge and introducing yourself! I love your colorful shots and especially your close-ups of Nature. You have lived in a part of the world that I have never seen. Thanks for sharing your beautiful images!
Thanks Scilla for liking my photos..it is my pleasure to share a little bit of myself. I know we are too far from the rest of the world, but it is definitely beautiful so maybe you can visit it one day!
Great bio and I like the picture in Versailles 🙂
Thanks so much. Missing travelling so much!
This is a wonderful post, Teresa. Each of us has a heritage that goes with us anywhere we go. Just so happens I’ve been working on a future beach walk about heritage.
That’s nice. Good luck on your future protects Frank!
Excellent!
Thanks for the visit, John!
What a terrific response Teresa – I loved it and DO feel I know you better now! Good for you for pulling up stakes – such an adventurous step! We did the same (although not to a different country altho it feels like it!) and like you have never looked back. Kudos!!
But now, because of the pandemic, is missing it too much!
And I like everything I know about you so far, Teresa! Such a bubbly, friendly lady 🙂 🙂
Thanks so much Jo and I guess you are too!
🙂 🙂
Wonderful post. Good to find out how you became what you are; we carry our past inside us always.
Yes… that will always be a part of who we are!
