“If you can smell the street by looking at the photo, it’s a street photograph.

I don’t know where my son went this weekend but he sent me this photo from London. And i thought it was a nice shot…good enough to share here.
I have just found out from a fellow blogger, Stephen, or scooj that “this is a fabulous piece by the artist Aspire, originally from Bristol.” Thanks for the info my friend 👍🏼

Oh at is nice to know. I will add this information to my post.
Beautiful piece of street art. Your son has a good eye, Teresa. Here in Melbourne we also have colourful street art like this 🙂
Hi Mabel. I know what you are saying because I come from Melbourne. And about my son, he is a photographer and directs music videos in London so he really has an eye. … but i guess this one is just for his mumma ❤️❤️❤️
Oh, so lovely to hear you come from Melbourne too, Teresa. Sounds like your son is a very creative person. Hope the two of you stay safe, and take care ❤️
Have a great Christmas and nice to meet somebody from Melbourne!
Kind of Christmassy too!
Haha with the snow and the tiny Christmas tree 🎄
A wonderful piece! I think this is near Crystal Palace?
Yes that is it. I haven’t been to this part of London…maybe next time.
What a fun image this is! And very well composed. I laughed at the battery symbol in the upper right – been there done that! The image reminded me of some I’ve seen in NYC on storefronts away from the maddening crowd.
I noticed that too. I researched about this place in google and I think that storefront door changes its design often. Thought you may want to know haha
Funny quote! The pic is nicely colourful too
Thanks for stopping by.
That was nice of scooj to help out with the artist – and scooj knows street art eh!?
Also – super fun when our children send us stuff (heart warming)
One time (years ago) we had people over and my son was in his room working on stuff – and the neighbors were playing music in their yard (it was a Saturday in summer)
And he comes downstairs and says
“Mom / that song you like is on outside”
Everyone looked at us and we opened the door and now folks looked at me- so after being blank and I jokingly danced – hahaha
But it was a sweet thing to feel the connection of being thought of – and have a rapport
That is why knowing your son sent this made me smile
Nice to hear your story. As parents these little things mean a lot to us.
I think I have mentioned it several times already on my blog that because my kids live in different cities from me or in the case of my son, on a different continent, we sort of bond in this way. They sometimes send me photos of where they went , where they ate or what they watched and I sometimes post it here.
Have a great day and a great Christmas 🎄
🙏😊🎄
