This week’s topic for Lens Artist Photo Challenge is Day & Night
I’ll stay close and showcase my home city, Melbourne for this challenge. Its diverse neighborhoods and vibrant urban culture create a lively daytime atmosphere, offering a variety of cuisines and renowned for its coffee culture.
As dusk falls, the city transforms into a vibrant night scene, with illuminated laneways and bright, colourful buildings casting a lively glow.
Day or night, Melbourne offers an inviting atmosphere for exploration. 😂😂😂Sorry if this sounds like an advertisement inviting people to Melbourne.
This does indeed sound like ‘an advertisement inviting people to Melbourne’, but what’s wrong with that? You love your city and why wouldn’t you, when it looks as great as this by day and night!
Haha one client from London 👍
I was thinking you sold Melbourne to me and then I saw your last sentence… 😀 Still sold!
😂 Thanks Sofia. Love the prompt for this week.
Love the vibrancy and the uniqueness of Melbourne you shared, Teresa. The giraffe, the coffee, the muralist, and the horses are among favorites. You do make me want to visit too. Someday.
Glad you liked my images, Donna. Yes, I know, Melbourne’s too far away from everywhere…but maybe one day !
It does look a great place, Teresa. Shame it’s so far away.
Melbourne doesn’t have as long a history as most European countries but I guess it’s not bad. Haha yes that is the problem of most people.
🤗🩷
A wonderful collection of might and day cityscapes Teresa 🙂
Thanks Brian ❤️
Well why NOT a commercial Teresa – if you love a place, as you obviously do!, then sell away!! Having visited Melbourne I’m 100% in your camp about how lovely and fun it is! Your images definitely tell the story!
I live about an hour away from Melbourne so I do sometimes feel that I am a tourist in my my own city. Thanks for the comment Tina.
Great, great photos and visual tour. LOVE the night shots and colors too. Outstanding.
Thanks so much John, glad you liked my images.
Teresa, you truly brought Melbourne to life with these photos. Every single image is so captivating. Well done!
Thanks so much Egidio. Happy to share. ❤️
Lovely!
Love especially the night ones!
Thanks so much for the lovely words.
You’ve done a great job of capturing our wonderful city.
Thanks, glad you liked it. Where in Melbourne are you from? I live about 45 min. Away from the CGD
Hi Teresa, we’re down on the Mornington Peninsula. Melbourne does have so many hidden delights.
I love Mornington. We often go there for a drive when the weather’s good.
Cheers!
Beautiful! Love Melbourne – even more now! Gorgeous pictures.
Thanks A-C. Only problem for most people is it’s too far 😂
