“Give me coffee
to change the things I can
And the beach
To accept the things I can’t” – unknown
At the Shire Hall Beach in the Mornington Peninsula, near the colourful bathing boxes, I found this lovely tiny house with doors and murals on all four sides.
I later on found out that this is a water station, and the murals were painted by Tony Sowersby, Lynette Young, Jacob Arnold and Phil Wiseman in 2006. Surprising that it had been there for a long time and I had gone to that place a lot of times but this is the first time I have seen this. Maybe because it is partially hidden by the trees or maybe it is facing the back street…. whatever reason, I am happy that I am able to share it with you now.
For Dan’s Thursday Doors Challenge
I love the murals, especially the one of the side-wheeler steamship. This was a great building to share – thanks!
Thanks Dan. I have researched about this and I can’t find anything more about this storage, or whatever it is.
What a great place to put some art on. It looks like it needed some too 🙂

Doors and murals, what’s not to love!
I know, right?!
Maybe it is a time-travel hut. Where should we go next? The mural seem to depict various epochs.
Wonderful, how they still look so well, giving the nut’s location. And gorgeous, thank you fo sharing.
