This is the Caleruega Chapel of Transfiguration located in Nasugbu, Batangas in the Philippines. It is a beautiful church known as the most popular wedding chapel around Tagaytay. It is perched on top of the highest hill surrounded by panoramic views.
Unfortunately the grounds were closed because there was a retreat going on that day. Anyway, the front door and the stained glass window made up for our disappointment.

What a wonderful chapel. I love the doors, they are awesome. 😀 😀
The craftsmanship is amazing. Thanks Cee.
The doors are beautiful, Teresa. The craftsmanship is amazing. The stained glass is also beautiful.
Yes I believe so too!
Did you explore the other facilities of the place? They are equally arresting. Went there twice with the family, parehong overnight.
That’s what I was saying. It was closed because they had a thing going on sa grounds. Sayang nga e.
Merong mas mataas na lugar dun overlooking Nasugbu mountains. I so love the Chapel of Transfiguration and the Koi at the garden pond. Masarap coffee nila…barako!
Maybe next time ulit. Sayang we missed out.
That door is so unusual and really beautiful!
Thanks a lot. It seems that there is much work put into it.
Oh my, Teresa, this is astonishing!! I’m trying to locate your fish door to link my poem there, but if I can’t find it, I’ll link here. This is so beautiful!
Thanks so much Manja.
What an amazing door!
Thanks much!
