Buildings in Black and White

“It’s an obvious opportunity for black and white when scene contains little color but lots of texture.” – John Beardsworth

Missing travelling so much… I wonder when my next flight is going to happen?

Maybe a virtual tour is good enough for now, posting this for Cee’s Black & White Challenge

Matthias Church in Budapest

Metropolis Building in Spain

Calvinist Church in Budapest

St Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna

Astronomical Clock in Prague

Holyroodhouse, the royal residence of the queen in Scotland, Edinburgh

You and me both Teresa, the date is getting pushed further and further away

    1. Teresa says:

I know right? My feet is itching to go but I am afraid to even get the first jab because of blood clotting issues. Gotta see how things go.

      1. Alison says:

Well we have both had first jab back in April, felt a bit ill for two days, but no jab no journey!

        1. Teresa says:

I know that’s what I am scared about but on the other hand I am afraid of blood clotting too. If only they will give the Pfizer to older people as well.

I think there’s too much info out there, you have to bite the bullet
All of my friends have had it and they are fine with no side effects

          2. Teresa says:

Yes, I guess I have to. I am going to my GP soon. Fingers crossed 🤞

Do go for it Teresa – the risks of the vaccine are WAY lower than the risks if you catch Covid!

            Will put that in mind👍🏼

Those first three are outstanding in black and white, Teresa. 🙂 🙂 You can travel within Australia at the moment? Have a lovely weekend, anyway!

    1. Teresa says:

Oh yes we can but all of a sudden there are outbreaks. Just seeing how things go. Have a great weekend too Jo!

  3. Some lovely shots, just hang on in there regarding the travel green light. Your day will come!

Oh I miss travelling so much too! We have a week in Newcastle coming up but we go there so often it’s not really a holiday although it will make a change 🙂

I love the drama of your monochrome shots – all very well chosen subjects!

    1. Teresa says:

Thanks so much Sarah for liking the shots! Greatly appreciate it.

Well, a holiday is a holiday no matter where it is. Enjoy your week!
