Focus on the Subject

“Depth of field teaches us a simple lesson: clarity comes when we know where to focus.” — Anonymous

For this week’s Lens-Artists Photo Challenge, Patti encourages us to Focus on the Subject. She also shared some practical suggestions on how to achieve this effectively.

Here, I used depth of field in my photos. By keeping the subject in focus and softly blurring the background, the eye is drawn to what I want people to notice. It helps remove distractions and makes the subject stand out, whether it’s a bird, a flower, a bee, an Alpaca or some special moments in the park.
