Back to walking in The Botanic Gardens

For Jo’s Monday Walk

One doesn’t have to travel far to experience the beauty of the world. Recently, Jack and I took a leisurely walk through Wilson’s Botanic Park, surrounded by the vibrant colours of spring blooms.

There is the scent of blossoms in the air making it a perfect little escape close to home.

But first—brunch! After a lovely meal, Jack and I took a leisurely walk through the rest of the Park.

We lingered under the cool shade of the trees, listening to the rustle of leaves and the distant chirping of birds.

The pond shimmered nearby and sometimes there is the siting of a family of ducks swimming around.

With one turn we passed by these remains of random things. I really can’t find anything about its story.

Just as we were about to leave, we came across a serene corner of the pond covered in different shades of lilies.

And on the opposite side we saw the reflections on the crystal clear water.

Wonderful! The lake looks like a painting. It’s funny this time of year when you are revelling in Spring and up in the north the world is cosying up for autumn. Did you see that Dan is having a special challenge for Cee? 7th November, I think it starts. You’ll have some fabulous flowers or black and whites to contribute xx
