“Art is too important not to share.” – Romero Britto
Tim took a photo while he was having his bike serviced…thanks son! This is a streetart by Thierry Noir in Shoreditch, London. I believe it is fairly new and this one can be found in Holywell Lane, if any of you may be around that area.
Thierry Noir’s trademark characters are minimalist with a bright colour palette. According to history, he was the first artist to do large murals on the Berlin wall in 1984.

When I first read your opening quote, I read it as “art is too important not to stare” !!! Blame it on bad eyes! and reading too quickly!
Upon reflection, it is also true enough. Especially with murals as funny & stunning as these … to stop, gawk and stare!
Haha you’re funny! But yes… one need to give a bit of time to be able to appreciate these artworks.
This reminds me a bit of Picasso, except for the lips.
That is a bit like a Picasso and Angelina Jolie.
My post was from London today too – but yours is more fun!
Hey…going up the escalator in London is quite fun too!
For yokels like me – yes!
I do too!
That is quite a fun and colourful mural. Glad your son has been trained to look out for murals for you, lol.
Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Teresa.
Oh yes, he is trained well…and my daughter does the same thing for me. They know what will make their mum happy 😃
These are fun! Thank you!
My pleasure Ludwig!
Happy ones!
❤️😀
You’re not going to ignore this…and you’re bound to smile 🙂 🙂
😃 glad that it made you smile … that is what we need right now
This one is really interesting.
