Up the Fairfield Pipe Bridge

“When you cross a bridge, you take a break from this world!” ― Mehmet Murat ildan

The Yarra River is a river in Victoria that flows through the city of Melbourne. Overhead is the rustic Fairfield Pipe Bridge, where you can see a bird’s eye view of the river… of people having a go on kayaking or boating … and of the awesome landscape from high above.

Patricia took us here when Melbourne’s hard lockdown was just eased last November. We went UP the Fairfield Pipe Bridge located south of the Fairfield Boathouse, about 5 km east of Melbourne’s CBD.

That’s a beautiful bridge. I like that it has an angle (and that you can access it).

    1. Teresa says:

Yes, even access to bikes. I think it is not allowed but people still do.

Wow, what a change on your blog! Do you like this theme better? Trom the side this bridge looks a little scary – so high up…but I like the murals on the pillars! Haven’t seen you on Thurs. Doors for a while – thanks so much for connecting with me again! Have a great weekend, Jesh

    1. Teresa says:

What do you think of the theme? I am open for suggestions haha. I was just playing around with WordPress. I have been constantly posting on Thursday doors tho.
The bridge is not too high if you’re re walking. It just looks like it because of the angle of the camera. Thanks for the comment.

      1. Junie-Jesh says:

Really like that the images appear in the middle, but i miss the big-ness of your previous blog where you could see the tiniest details. You were on Thurs. Doors?? Maybe I need some new glasses then!

        1. Teresa says:

Oh yes, that is why i changed the theme. I am trying to make my images smaller in size so as not to use up my allowable 3G of WordPress free limit. My husband has a big monitor so he said that my images are not clear.
Oh yes I posted a birdhouse as my entry for the Thursday Doors this week and last week was the doors in daughter’s neighbourhood. Thanks for the comments my dear.
