“It’s the little things that make life wonderful.” – unknown

Around my garden and backyard there are little things that I may have taken for granted. But with a different focus on the subject, it makes me look at it from a different perspective. Take for example the rusting lock of the garden shed…or the little figurine near the garden soil …or the withered flower …or the ant meeting up with another ant… UP close, using a close up lens and seeing the minute details of the object, I get to appreciate it more.

It is exciting but you’re right, sometimes it gets rather daunting.

Haha I know ..I don’t want to post too often ..I try to do two in one and I’m running out of photos and I feel pretty sure I’ve posted some a few times

          2. Teresa says:

Haha nevermind. All of us are in the same boat as we all cannot travel. But it needs some sort of creativity to be able to post two or even three challenges in one go, right?

If I have to pick a favourite it is that intrepid ant but they are all beautiful photographs.

    1. Teresa says:

Thanks so much. The full photo has another ant 🐜 🐜 but I just can’t fit it on a square.

I like these. I struggle with close ups. I like the shot of the ant. They are fun to watch sometimes. They are amazing workers.

Great work Teresa! I love the textures you’ve captured in your images, especially the old lock. The flowers look as if they were inviting you to take their pictures.

Some beautiful examples Teresa, I’m so glad I clicked on the images as they aren’t really done justice in the grid format. Loved your featured photo and the clock/timer/lock????

    1. Teresa says:

Thanks for that Tina, I was pretty undecided which to put as a featured photo. And that is a shed lock that is rusting away.
