Tuesday StreetArt – Tabernacle Street 63

TABERNACLE STREET, LONDON

I believe that the large area on Tabernacle Street in Shoreditch is known for its rotating ads and murals. At the moment, a fresh San Miguel Beer advertisement has been installed there.

BACK STORY: San Miguel Beer has been a prominent brand in the Philippines since my youth. Recently, my son Tim came across an advertisement for it in London, sparking my interest.

I learned that in 2014, San Miguel and Mahou-San Miguel signed a partnership to collaboratively promote the brand and broaden its global reach.

This is an interesting one, I’m wondering if the musical note and the words ‘Here’s to the Seekers’ is a nod to the 1960s Australian group The Seekers – the lead singer Judith Durham had a wonderful voice and even now some of their songs are personal favourites.

      I wonder… I know the Seekers!
