Tuesday StreetArt – In Cecil Street – 57

CECIL STREET, FITZROY

Pat started her new work yesterday and she passed these murals.

As some of you may be interested to find out more, this is a community project featuring a group of some of Australia’s well known street artists. It is a 50-metre wall project including the likes of Adnate, Cam Scale, Dvate, Heesco, Jason Parker, Rone and Sofles! Each artist had a dedicated section of the wall and they had to create a portrait with the topic of ‘Faces of the Community’. Their subjects ranged from grandmothers, daughters, council workers, activists, etc.

That child is beautiful, but looks so sad. Do you know the story behind it?

I researched about it, sadly I didn’t find out the story behind her sadness. I just found out why they had this large mural in place. I added it on my post. Happy to find out who some of the artists were.
