Street Details

“I hope you find, as I did, that happiness comes from noticing and enjoying the little things in life.” – Barbara Ann Kipfer

This Aboriginal artwork is located in the parking area of Federation Square in Melbourne’s CBD. Many people walk past it without even noticing its beauty.

The theme for this week’s Lens Artist Photo Challenge from Ritva is Street Details.

Some Streetart often ignored

Small Window displays too good to miss.

Whether you are Looking up

Or looking down … there’s beauty all around.

  1. Teresa, there are so many great details here, aboriginal art I like . I have actually bought two and have them at my home. Murals are always interesting and are an art form on their own. the little figures 😀 A bike by the steer is more than often been caught in a photo of mne too. Great photos for the theme.

Thanks Amy, glad you like that one. About the like button, that sometimes happens to me too but I don’t know how to fix it. But it’s good to know

I would have guessed you’d have lots to show us for this challenge! I really like the Aboriginal artwork – maybe it’s a shame it’s ‘hidden’ in a parking area? The little figures in the window displays are wonderful and I love those golden bees 🐝

Such a varied collection of beautiful details. I like everything, but the aboriginal art is worth highlighting as it is literally and figuratively deserving to be noticed.
