In the South Island even the simplest things like an old shed, a half-open door, the play of shadows, feel poetic. New Zealand really knows how to make the ordinary beautiful.

I am linking this to Becky’s November Shadows and for Dan’s Thursday Doors Challenge

I love how open the countryside looks and with beautiful big skies overhead!
As I’ve mentioned in Becky’s … the sky and the clouds tell so much story in New Zealand.
Excellent shadows and I love that shed as well. Great photos, Teresa. From the beautiful blue sky, it looks like it was a wonderful and indee poetic day!
Thanks Suzette. The South Islands is just pretty it doesn’t have to try.
These are beautiful photos. Those sheds look better maintained than some houses I’ve seen. I love the first one.
They might be just sheds but they are in google maps so it has become a tourist attraction.
oh these are wonderful – the size of the sky is one of the things remember most about my far too brief visit to NZ
Yes, it is the sky and the clouds of New Zealand 👍
These are lovely.
Thanks so much ❤️
Beautiful indeed! The vastness of place is breath-taking!
Thanks so much. Such a great place.
